STOBER’s cLEAN System eliminates premature failure due to water ingress, is IP69K certified with an IE5 energy efficiency, and is designed to EHEDG standards. The entire system (stainless steel gearbox and motor, Ecolab certified cable, and preprogrammed drive) is backed by a three-year warranty.

The cLEAN Drive from STOBER supports numerous communication protocols, such as MODBUS, PROFIBUS, EtherCAT, and EtherNet/IP, and is incredibly easy to program and install. Check out some of the other benefits below:

Weep No More – Eliminate premature failure due to water ingress through the motor! The only motor you’ll want in a washdown environment. Water ingress through motor weep holes is the number-one cause of premature failure in gearboxes. Motor manufacturers advise plugging weep holes to protect your warranty, but STOBER disagrees.  A STOBER gearbox must not have plugged weepholes to maintain its warranty. The STOBER cLEAN System has zero weep holes, features double seals on the motor cover and all connection points, and has an o-ring in the cable connection, resulting in a totally enclosed solution that prevents premature failure. It’s designed to EHEDG standards and is IP69K Certified.

Reduce unplanned downtime with the cLEAN System. The number one cause of premature failure for gearboxes is water ingress through motor weep holes. When water enters the gearbox and motor connection, it rusts the motor input, causing failure. STOBER has eliminated this issue with the new cLEAN System. It features an all stainless steel motor with zero weep holes, double seals on the motor cover and all connection points, and an o-ring in the cable connection, resulting in a totally enclosed solution. The cLEAN System is designed to EHEDG standards and is IP69K Compliant. Pair it with our KSS, our stainless steel gearbox, to provide the world’s toughest system.

Couple it with STOBER’s KSS gearbox and you’ll have the only trustworthy solution for a washdown environment. Plus, the cLEAN motor is rated at IE5 efficiency, the highest-level of efficiency in the U.S. When energy regulations change in the future, it’s already compatible and capable of handling higher efficiency requirements without a redesign. Most competitor products must lengthen in size by 33% and become heavier for each efficiency level they improve.

Easy Integration and Installation – Install the System in minutes. Don’t worry about whether or not your gearbox will work with the motor and VFD. STOBER takes care of everything for you. Hygienic – Designed based on EHEDG Standards and IP69K Certified. The STOBER cLEAN Motor has a rounded surface finish with no harborage points. No bacteria can grow on the motor, making it ideal for washdown environments. If you do need to do additional cleaning beyond the exterior, the o-ring can be removed for cleaning and the unit can be reassembled easily. The easy-to-clean design meets EHEDG standards to prevent microbiological problems, prevent ingress or growth of micro-organisms, and ensure long-term durability.
