The 2024 STOBER Rep Awards have been announced. STOBER’s sales rep network has the expertise and industry knowledge to provide customers with the best solutions for their individual applications. These reps demonstrate unwavering commitment, relentless hard work, and unyielding effort to provide value to the customer.
STOBER’s success is driven by the dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence exhibited by our sales reps. We are thrilled to recognize the outstanding achievements of our sales team and extend a heartfelt thank you to each of them for their continued hard work.
Andy Simpson is the 2024 Power Transmission Rep of the Year and Greg Young is the 2024 Motion Control Rep of the Year.
“For more than two decades, Andy Simpson has been a cornerstone of STOBER in the Southeast, consistently exceeding expectations,” said Mark Sticklen, STOBER regional sales manager. “His unwavering dedication to building strong customer relationships, exemplified by bringing customers to the Maysville facility, has been instrumental to our success.”
Simpson’s positive and approachable demeanor makes him a vital part of the STOBER sales team. “We are incredibly proud to have Andy as part of the STOBER family,” Sticklen said. “This award is a well-deserved recognition of his outstanding contributions and the high standard of excellence he embodies.”
Greg Young, STOBER Motion Control Rep of the Year, has been a representative for STOBER since 2000. “Greg has shown what it means to be a technical sales professional in a changing time,” said Brian Gerzsenyi, STOBER regional sales manager. In 2000, Greg and his twin brother, David, picked up the line as the first Motion Control-only representative.
“Greg continues to passionately and strategically find new avenues for STOBER to be successful,” said Gerzsenyi. “The work he has done will propel him to even greater success and I, for one, am looking forward to seeing it!”
The Rising Star award is earned by an up-and-coming STOBER rep who demonstrates outstanding performance and was awarded to Brian Sinclair, who has excelled in his role for the past three years, growing his territory in one of the most competitive markets in the nation.
“Brian’s determination, skill, and genuine care for his customers has allowed him to show remarkable results while transforming challenges to opportunities,” said Daman Aaron, STOBER regional sales manager.
Sinclair’s experience in the poultry industry provides him unique insights and and unmatched ability to connect with customers. “Brian exemplifies the spirit of STOBER,” Aaron said. “We are so fortunate to have him as part of our team.”
Rep firms recognized in the silver category include AF Industrial, DJ Reps, Machine Automation Products, NO Holder & Associates Inc., PTS LLC, Ware Industrial Sales, and Western Automation. In the gold category, STOBER recognizes Devine Industrial Sales, Koelling & Associates, Paul Davis Automation, Premier Controls, and Mechatronics Solutions. The platinum category consists of Servo Motion Solutions, SKA Simpson & Associates, and Young Mechatronics. The diamond category includes Bick Products.
