On Saturday, May 18, STOBER hosted a memorial golf scramble at Kenton Station Golf Course. Proceeds from the scramble established scholarship funds for relatives of two employees who recently passed away unexpectedly. The scramble was a huge success, raising a total of about $9,000 in scholarship funds for the grandson of Mike Noel and two sons of Logan Cooper.
Mike Noel was an integral part of our manufacturing team, working as a machinist at STOBER Drives for 13 years. Mike was an avid golfer and will be remembered for his humor, positive attitude, and outstanding work. Logan Cooper was a vital member of our supply chain team. He will be remembered for his hard work, dedication, and leadership.
The scramble’s winning team included golfers Kevin Darnell, Josh Stafford, Kathy Emmons, Mary McDaniel, Mike McDaniel, and Tony Emmons. Second place honors went to golfers Chaz Mack, Brian Keysor, Chris Phillips, Joey Kiskaden, Nate Music, and Pete Jordan. Both teams donated their winnings back to support the cause. The winner of the one-year membership to Kenton Station Golf Course was Jeremy Jones.
