STOBER named Large Business of the Year by Maysville Area Chamber

STOBER Drives has been named Large Business of the Year by the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce.  

Large Business of the Year Nominees include businesses with more than 50 employees who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, business acumen, and professionalism in our community.  Criteria includes:

• Partner (Member) of the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce in good standing for more than one year
• Demonstrated success in areas including employment, sales, and innovation
• Dedication to quality, customers service, and commitment to employees
• Evidence of contribution to the community and community-oriented projects

According to the Maysville Ledger Independent, STOBER’s strong community involvement is a testament to the company’s success.

“This business’ strong community involvement is another hallmark of their success as they consistently give back to local programs and actively support the community throughout the year,” said Kaci Foster, executive director of the Maysville Area Chamber of Commerce.

“(STOBER’s) dedication to championing a supportive workplace is evident in the generous benefits they offer which include continuing education, fully paid employee insurance, and a variety of events that bring together their employees and their families,” Foster said.

Community voting for the award was open between Aug. 19 and Aug. 30 for people to cast votes in support of those business who they felt have demonstrated exceptional leadership, commitment, and impact in the Maysville-Mason County area.  Ultimately, winners were determined through a combined scoring system, incorporating both community votes and evaluations from our expert panels, ensuring a fair and comprehensive selection process.

Other nominees in this category included East Kentucky Power Cooperative, International Paper, Mitsubishi Electric, Primary Plus, G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, and Meadowview Regional Medical Center.  International Paper and G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers tied for Large Business of the Year First Runner Up.
